Mulford Plastics Thailand with the assistance and supply from Sheffield Plastics USA has completed the supply of Hy Gard Polycarbonate to Brink’s (Thailand) Ltd. for the glazing of ten of their new armored security vehicles.

Hy Gard BR is an AR coated Polycarbonate laminated sheet that meets the highest safety specifications required by Brink’s.

The sheet consists of multiple layers of Polycarbonate and offers proven resistance to physical and ballistic attacks.

This relative light weight Polycarbonate sheet makes it an ideal product for security vehicle glazing.
Brink’s were established in America in 1859 and have become the world’s largest and most reputable security transportation company. Every day Brink’s moves billions of dollars with its fleet of over 7,000 vehicles in 110 countries.

Scott Stufflebeam, the National Operations & Strategic Development Manager at Brink’s Thailand, has many years experience with Brink’s and when designing the security vehicles for Brink’s Thailand specified Sheffield Makrolon Hy Gard for this application.

Mulfords Thailand has supplied its second order for 2007 and Scott advises there are a number of new vehicles required for 2008.
