Product used for Fabrication

Below are some typical products used in fabrication & display & their applications. For more information on the products please click on the product name.

Acrylic - . Acrylic ior perspex is a highly versatile & widely used product.  It is amongst the most scratch resistance of all thermoplastics and it's transparency, gloss & diemensional shape are virtually unaffected by exposure to the elements. Mulford carry an extensive range of acrylic in gloss levels, colours and different degrees of impact. Common applications in fabrication and display are: Stands, display boxes, barrels, trophies, brochure holders, awards, parts

Polycarbonate - High optical quality, impact, UV and fire resistant, virtually unbreakable Lexan* polycarbonate sheetis an added dimension in interior and exterior applications like  displays & boxes, machine parts & guards

PETG sheet offers excellent clarity, toughness, versatility, chemical resistance. PETG has excellent thernoforming and fabrication characteritics making it an ideal  material for signage, screen printing or displays and is available in both UV and NON UV grades depending on the application.

ABS (Acrylonitrile, Butadiene (Rubber Modifiers) and Styrene) is part of the styrene family only tougher, greater rigidity and better impact performance makes it great for thermoforming. Typically used internally, however you can add Flame Retardance and UV additives to improve the performance of the base resin.

ASA (Acrylic, Styrene, and Acrylonitrile) material has great toughness and rigidity, good chemical resistance and thermal stability, outstanding resistance to weather, aging and yellowing, and high gloss with he processability of ABS.

Kydex is a extremely durable thermoplastics alloy extruded to withstand levels of abuse from moderate to extreme.  It is available in grades to optimize long term performance, appearance and cost effectiveness across demanding and diverse end use applications.

Weld on & Plexus- Mulford carry a limited range of adesives and cleaners to compliment the fabrication markets.
